Monster Cave

Monster Caves are one of the game modes in Knighthood, which involve the player battling through Boss Monsters that get progressively stronger and stronger with each victory. They are located in Highgard, Mirefen, White Peak, Realm of Fire, and Karnheim.

Battle

Each Monster Cave battle attempt costs 1 Torch. The battles consist of 3 rounds, in which the player only has to defeat the Boss Monster of the round to progress to the next round (any Side Monsters remaining will flee).

When a battle is won, the player receives Crimson Souls, which can be used to buy items in Monster Cave Shops. Completing a difficulty of a Cave Monster rewards a large sum of Crimson Souls.

A Monster Cave battle can be attempted up to 6 times a day per location.

Progression

Each Monster in each Monster Cave has three difficulty levels: Normal, Expert, and Master. For each difficulty level, there are a certain amount of wins to attain before progressing to the next mode.
