Monsters
Monsters are the primary type of enemy present in Knighthood. They appear in all the various Battles and attack the Knight in a one- or two-row formation. Defeating Monsters may grant XP, complete certain Story and Side Story objectives, grant Chests and other rewards, and many other outcomes depending on the situation.
Types
Monsters are classified into nine distinct types.
Beast
Beasts are one of the first enemy types the Knight will encounter in the game, introduced in Astellan.
Cult
Cultists are introduced in Highgard.
Demon
Demons are introduced in Mirefen.
Goblin
Goblins are one of the first enemy types the Knight will encounter in the game, introduced in Astellan.
Golem
Golems are introduced in Mirefen.
Militia
Militia are introduced in Highgard.
Outlaw
Outlaws are one of the first enemy types the Knight will encounter in the game, introduced in Astellan.
Troll
Trolls are introduced in White Peak.
Undead
Undead are introduced in Highgard.
Unknown
Unknown Monsters have no defined type and are not weak to any weapon.
Standard Monsters
Standard Monsters make up a majority of the Monsters. They can be found in Conquests and Hunts, as well as side enemies to Roaming and Cave monsters.

Roaming Monsters

Roaming Monsters are Boss Monsters that appear at set time intervals throughout each area. They give the rewards for winning the battle while completing certain conditions. The Bounty Board gives a choice of rewards for defeating a certain number of Roaming Monsters.
Cave Monsters

Cave Monsters are Boss Monsters that reside in the various Monster Caves throughought the regions, cycling through on a weekly schedule. They can be challenged using Torches, with a maximum of 6 attempts per cave per day.
Onslaught Commanders
- Main article: Onslaught Dungeon
Onslaught Commanders are unique, powerful enemies that appear in the Onslaught Dungeon and Dark Onslaught. They have the ability to summon a set amount of normal monsters into battle instead of attacking.
