Lost Sands

Lost Sands is one of the Special Events in Knighthood. It was introduced on July 24, 2020.
Players enter the Sacred Portal and battle the 
Outlaw Saurians and Froskur to earn Event Points, which grant rewards at certain amounts. Side Stories and Roaming Monsters specific to Lost Sands provide additional Event Points and other rewards.
The Lost Sands Heroes are Kamil and Azhar.

THE GUARDIAN AND THE GENIE
Lost Sands Heroes
The Saurian Outlaws have long been a thorn in the side of the people of Tal Afanbar. Centuries ago, the great walled city nearly fell to the lizards, but they were ultimately thwarted by two great Heroes, who are returning once more for this year's Lost Sands.
Kamil grew up in Tal Afanbar many centuries ago, constantly aware of the threat that the Saurians posed to his people. Determined to protect the innocent souls within the city walls, Kamil established the Guardians of Tal Afanbar - an eclectic range of fighters determined to defend the city. The Guardians still defend the city to this day.
Azhar is a magical being of immense power. Unlike many of his kind, he has always cared deeply for humans. When Kamil and his Guardians called for aid, Azhar most unexpectedly answered the call. He not only fought in their battles, but he also shared his knowledge and power with them.
Kamil will be available on the Event Reward Track, and Azhar can be found in the Lost Sands Event Chest.
THE SAURIANS
Lost Sands Enemies
After their defeat at the gates of Tal Afanbar, the Saurian Outlaws were down, but not out. The lizards waited and watched, quietly regrowing their ranks (and any lost tails). After many decades had passed, the Saurians gained a new leader.
Saha is as ambitious as he is cruel. Like most of his kind, he has a chance to apply Burn, Acid or Poison when hit. What's worse is that his power, Beatdown, not only damages any unfortunate opponent, but also increases the damage he does against those status effects!
Varanus is Saha's brother, and second-in-command. Despite being the younger sibling, Varanus is huge, and every bit as unpleasant as his older brother. Acting as an enforcer, he roams the lands, causing havoc wherever he travels. Watch out for his Fire Breath!
Saurian Bandits make up the bulk of the Saurian forces. They are fast and nasty, and have a chance of applying a negative status effect to their opponent. They're also quite cowardly and tend to run off if they feel the battle isn't going their way. so take them down quickly!
Saurian Sorcerers can often be found in the back row, attacking from a distance. They can also apply a negative status effect when hit, and cheerfully heal any injured allies.
The Saurians also call on the aid of their great snake goddess, Meret. She loathes warm-blooded mortals, and needs a Guild of brave Knights to take her down. If your Guild is high level and up to the challenge, you could even summon her in Expert mode...
BEYOND THE STARS
Lost Sands Rewards
The weaponsmiths of Tal Afanbar are known for their exquisite workmanship. As a mark of gratitude for your help battling the Saurian Outlaws, there are new Skins available during Lost Sands.
The Tal Afanbar Armor Skins allow you to look like you belong in the harsh deserts and lush oases beyond the Portal.
The Eternal Cosmos Weapon Skins will imbue your weapons with the power of the stars.
As usual, there's also a great range of event-exclusive Customizations, and a brand-new Skin for Kamil. Which rewards will you be looking forward to?
Special Monsters
All Special Monsters in the Lost Sands event, save for Meret, have a chance to apply Burn, Poison, or Acid to the Knight when hit with a Punch or Weapon attack. Furthermore, these individual statuses will stack with each other, meaning a Saurian could apply multiple of the same effect that deals one singular large damage tick of that effect at the end of the turn.
- Varanus: Roaming Monster spawning every four hours in the furthest two regions the player has unlocked so far. High health with a Power that deals Burn.
- If a player hasn't unlocked the conquest node where Varanus spawns in a region yet, they will only get spawns in the previous region.
- Saha: Portal Boss, and leader of the Saurian Outlaws. His power deals more damage if the Knight is afflicted with a negative Status Effect.
- Saurian Bandit: Light Saurian that wields dual scimtars. They have a chance to flee from battle if they get to use their Power.
- Saurian Sorcerer: Magical Saurian mages with the power to Cure allies.
- Meret: Outlaw Guild Boss that may be summoned by all guilds. Event Points are offered per defeat along with usual guild boss rewards.
- Guilds may summon this boss in a Expert Difficulty to reward more Accolades.
Portal Battle Mode
When the Portal is open (every weekend, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning UTC), players will be able to choose from up to five portal levels, in relation to their current Knight level. Higher portal levels add a percentage of Event Points along with base amounts.

- Level 25: +50% extra points
- Level 35: +100% extra points
- Level 45: +200% extra points
- Level 55: +300% extra points
Event Points in this mode are earned based on the amount and type of enemies defeated, regardless of winning or losing.

Players are given three free attempts per day until the event ends. Once all attempts are used, three additional attempts may be purchased for 120 Gems. Purchasing the Event Pass gives another 3 free daily attempts for a total of 6 per day.
Event Side Stories
Every Friday, a new set of Side Quests related to Lost Sands will be available for the player to complete. These Side Stories expire at the end of the event if incomplete.
Weekly Side Stories
On the first weekend, the player will need to complete some earlier stories before the rest of Week 1 Side Stories appear. After this, each subsequent weekend only requires that the previous week's stories have been completed.

Reward Track
Event Points contribute to unlocking rewards a player may get. Special Edition items are no longer available after the event ends. A second section of the Reward Track is unlocked for those who purchase the Premium Pass. Rewards include Skins, Gold, Chests, Shards of Kamil and Azhar, Shard Dust, Strong vs Outlaw, Demon, and Ranged Equipment, and various Customization items.
