Blood Moon
To view info about previous content from this Event, see Blood Moon/Past Events. |
Blood Moon is one of the Special Events in Knighthood. It was introduced on October 2, 2020.
Players enter the Sacred Portal and battle Beast-type Fenrirgard Lycans and Skeletal Undead enemies to earn Event Points, which grant rewards at certain amounts. Side Stories and Roaming Monsters specific to Blood Moon provide additional Event Points and other rewards.
The Blood Moon Heroes are Carmilla and Petra. The Guild Wars monster types are Outlaw and Golem.
NIGHT AND DAY
The Vampire and the Innocent
Although the Night Hunters had battled the rogue lycans with limited success, it was two great Heroes that eventually freed the lands of the Fenrirgard's threat.
Carmilla was once a high ranking alchemist. In her quest for eternal learning, she accepted immortality in vampiric form. Although the bloodlust and general flammability was undesirable, she now had a lot of time on her hands, which she put to good use. She helped Petra find her true power. and helped drive back the Fenrirgard. She's ideal if you want a healer that also packs a punch... or rather, a bite.
Petra was a brave village girl who lived with her grandmother. When the Fenrirgard were attacking her people, she volunteered to be the subject of Carmilla's experiments. Gaining immense magical power, Petra was the key to banishing the Fenrirgard originally. Her magical powers can inflict Burn and Unfocus.
Carmilla will be available on the Event Reward Track, and Petra can be found in the Blood Moon Event Chest.
THE FURY OF THE FENRIRGARD
Blood Moon Rising
The story of the Fenrirgard is a tragic one. Centuries ago, even peaceful lycan packs were hunted and persecuted by humans. Some, such as Logan's pack, retreated into the solitude of the mountains of southern White Peak. Others. however, became enraged at humanity. They tormented human settlements for years, until they were cursed to take human form by the mage Petra, and banished to lands unknown.
Fenrir united the lycans that wanted humanity to suffer for its crimes. No longer bound to human form by Petra's enchantment, Fenrir plans to roam the land with his most loyal soldiers. His power, Chomp, is fairly self explanatory...
Garm is the Fenrir's son, and faithful second in command. He leads the Fenrirgard forces attacking the Sacred Portal, and is a formidable leader. His Pack Howl power heals both himself and his soldiers, as well as giving them both Focus and Fury.
Fenrirgard Swordsmen are the frontline of the Fenrirgard forces. Unlike their leaders, they've been unable to completely shake off the curse condemning them to human form. However, in the heat of battle, they can often retake their true forms...
Fenrirgard Archers can be found at the back, releasing their arrows with alarming accuracy and power. As with their swordsmen packmates, they're still trapped in human form. Most of the time.
Special Monsters
The Fenrirgard Swordsman and Archer can both Transform into Lycan forms, greatly increasing their health and damage while removing their armor. In addition, they gain 50% Critical Chance and 200% Critical Damage buffs. Defeating them in their Lycan form grants significantly more Event Points (see the table below), encouraging the player to wait for their transformation before defeating them.
All Lycan form monsters inflict Dispel with their standard attacks, making it difficult to use buffs like Protect and Regenerate to counteract their high damage.
- Fenrir: Roaming Monster spawning every four hours in the furthest two regions the player has unlocked so far. His main dealing damage attack is Chomp.
- If a player hasn't unlocked the conquest node Fenrir spawns in a region yet, they will only get spawns in the previous region.
- Garm: son of Fenrir and leader of the lycans assaulting the Portal. His Power heals both himself and his forces.
- Fenrirgard Swordsman: heavy warriors that can turn themselves into lycan form.
- Fenrirgard Archer: ranged archers that can turn themselves into lycan form.
- Sycorax: Undead Guild Boss that may be summoned by all guilds. 5000 Event Points are rewarded upon defeat, along with usual guild boss rewards.
Portal Battle Mode
When the Portal is open (every weekend, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning UTC), players will be able to choose from up to five portal levels, in relation to their current Knight level. Higher portal levels add a percentage of Event Points along with base amounts.
- Level 5: Standard points
- Level 15: +20% extra points
- Level 25: +50% extra points
- Level 35: +100% extra points
- Level 45: +200% extra points
- Level 55: +300% extra points
Event Points in this mode are earned based on the amount and type of enemies defeated, regardless of winning or losing.

Event Side Stories
Every Friday, a new set of Side Quests related to Blood Moon will be available for the player to complete. These Side Stories expire at the end of the event if incomplete.
Weekly Side Stories
On the first weekend, the player will need to complete some earlier stories before the rest of Week 1 Side Stories appear. After this, each subsequent weekend only requires that the previous week's stories have been completed.
