Equipment describes all of the various items the player can equip on their Knight to improve their stats and change the flow of combat. Equipment can be acquired in many ways, including Bounties, Chests, and doing Stories and Side Stories.

Upgrading

Main article: Equipment/Upgrading

Equipment can be upgraded with materials to make them stronger.

Forging

Weapons and armor with a rarity of rare or higher can undergo forging to increase their Rank, as well as damage or protection. Forging involves taking a maxed-level weapon and fusing it with forge runes and ores (Malachite, Cobalt, Manganese, Orpiment).

Rarity

Equipment is sorted into are 6 different types of rarities. Higher-rarity items have higher base stats and increase these stats much faster when Leveling Up or

Common

As the lowest rarity, many items acquired in the beginning of the game are common.

  • Weapons and Armor do not have charm slots
  • Cannot be Ranked up or Transmuted

Rare

  • Weapons and Armor hold one random Charm slot
  • Malachite (along with forge runes) is required to forge from rank 2 onwards
  • May be transmuted from Common Equipment
  • Potions are labeled with a "lesser" prefix

Epic

  • Weapons and Armor hold two random Charm slots
  • Cobalt (along with forge runes) is required to forge from Rank 2 onwards
  • May be transmuted from Rare Equipment
  • Potions are labeled with an "Improved" prefix

Legendary

  • Weapons and Armor hold three random charm slots
  • Manganese (along with forge runes) is required to forge from Rank 2 onwards
  • May be transmuted from Epic Equipment
  • Potions are labeled with a "Greater" prefix

Unique

  • Weapons and Armor hold four random charm slots
  • Orpiment (along with forge runes) is required to forge from Rank 2 onwards
  • May be transmuted from Legendary Equipment

Mythic

  • Only attainable after level 40, and after clearing the Greywater hunt in White Peak
  • Weapons/armor hold five fixed charm slots
  • Can only be obtained by sacrificing gear to the Lady of the Lake in the Mythic Rift
  • Only one of each type of Mythic Equipment can be obtained, and they cannot be Dismantled

Ranks

Currently there are 5 ranks, ranging from 1 to 5. Each weapon and armor piece is assigned a rank.
