Otakemaru
"Once a great leader, Otakemaru bravely led his people into battle with the Dark Ones that invaded his world.
Unfortunately, he fell to the Dark Ones, who twisted him into the monster he is today."
Otakemaru is one of the Roaming Monsters found throughout the lands of Knighthood. He is a Heavy Demon type Monster, a large red-skinned yokai with black hair and a mustache, wearing light blue pants and twisting tattoos down his shoulders and sides.
Where to Find
Otakemaru only appears during the 
Demongate Special Event. He will spawn every 2 hours, alternating between the most recent region the player has unlocked and the previous region, as long as the appropriate Conquest has been completed:
- Astellan: WIP

- Mirefen: WIP
- White Peak: Skald's Split
- Realm of Fire: Troias Gatehouse
Combat
Otakemaru fights like a standard Roaming Monster, with his power, Blazing Fist, dealing high damage but also causing him to take 50% of the damage dealt.
When Otakemaru is hit with a Punch or Weapon attack, he gains the Regenerate Status Effect for 1 turn. This effect stacks every hit, resulting in a massive tick of healing with a single turn.
Rewards
Upon defeat, Otakemaru gives ?-340 Event Points depending on which region he is fought in.

- "Otakemaru," "Odake Maru," or "Onigari Demon King" is the name of a yokai in Japanese folklore, a creature so powerful it is said to be a kijin, or "god demon," who lives in the mountains and creates black clouds, as well as lightning and rains of fire.
