Oni
"The Oni were great swordsmen in their former lives, and have been made even more formidable by their torment and bitterness."
The Oni is a Demon Monster unique to the 
Demongate Special Event. It is red-skinned, horned yokai with spiky white hair and mutton chops, wearing armor with teal and yellow underclothes and wielding a large katana.
Its Great Oni form has darker clothes with silver armor, its skin becomes yellow, and its hair becomes bright red.
Combat
The Oni has high armor and low health, and deals Heavy damage. It's Power is Transcend, which transforms itself into Great Oni and fully restores its health and armor. In addition, it gains double health and armor and a 50% Critical Damage bonus.
When Great Oni is hit with a Punch or Weapon attack, it gains the Regenerate Status Effect for 1 turn. This effect stacks every hit, resulting in a massive tick of healing with a single turn.
Attacking charges it's new Power, Revert, which turns Great Oni back into Oni.
Great Oni gives 450% more Event Points than Oni, encouraging the player to avoid killing it until it uses Transcend, and then killing it before it can Revert.
