"Gelkar is one of the leaders of The Abyssal Covenant. Ruthless even for the Shalkex, he holds contempt for his subordinates if they are not brutal enough for his liking. He is the most devout follower of V'eggarh."
Gelkar is the Portal Boss of the Abyssal Mist Special Event. He is a Heavy Cult Monster, resembling a large humanoid made of black tendrils and beady red eyes. He wears a worn yellow hooded robe wrapped in chains and belts, along with a twisted wooden crown. He wields a large chipped greatsword in one hand and a spiked flail in the other.
Combat
Gelkar begins rounds in the frontlines and deals 
Heavy damage. His Power, Soul Sacrifice, restores the health and armor of one ally and grants the Sacrifice effect. Enemies with Sacrifice will deal +50% damage with their next attack, and will then be removed from battle, negating any Event Points gained by defeating them.
Gelkar begins the round with a fully charged Power meter. Due to it being difficult to defeat him in one turn on higher difficulties, it's best to use powers and attacks with Delay, Stun, or Freeze to prevent him from using Soul Sacrifice immediately.
