Trollkin
Trollkin, also known as the White Peak Trolls, are a community of Troll Monsters that live primarily in White Peak. They live in large stone halls underneath the mountains[1] and hunt wildlife and any other creatures for food[2]. They are denoted by either gray or red skin covered in red, black, and yellow paint or tattoos, with stone-like growths across various parts of their body. They are known to die young[3], either due to biology or their harsh living conditions.
Trollkin are very group-oriented, rejecting members who are indiscriminately violent[4] and being wary of those who practice magic to the point of ostracization[5] which can cause conflict and resentment[6].
Lore
Long ago, the White Peak Trolls, led by Kerg Stoneheart, staged a massive invasion against the rest of the lands of Knighthood, but were decisively thwarted by Queen Krita's forces, led by Dvalin. Now, while they are still formidable, the remaining members of the clan keep to White Peak, defending their territory violently.
