Apostate of the Rift
The Apostate was once an army captain, proudly serving King Eskar's forces. Captured by the Dark Ones, he was convinced that rescue was imminent. When no rescue came, he betrayed his King and offered his loyalty to his tormentors.
Apostate of the Rift is a Rift Boss in Knighthood. He is a massive soldier in red and brown armor with silver plating, wielding a huge greatsword.
Combat
Apostate of the Rift deals Heavy damage and charges Power in a single turn. His Power, Double-Edged Sword, deals massive damage directly to the Knight's health, in exchange for taking 50% of the damage dealt.
Apostate of the Rift always starts the round with Regenerate, which does not have a turn limit but can be dispelled by a Hero Power.
Whenever Apostate of the Rift is hit with a Weapon or Punch attack, he has a chance of gaining Protect or Fury.
Rewards
Like all Rift Bosses, Apostate of the Rift has a chance of dropping a number of different rewards, starting at 3 drops and increasing by one drop for every 30 points in Threat Level.
