Khimaira is one of the Guild Bosses in Knighthood. It is a 3-headed, multi-form boss that switches between 3 heads with different attributes:

  • A Magical Undead 1.png Undead, blue-horned Goat head with sharp teeth
  • A Light Demon 1.png Demon, green-scaled Serpent head with oversized fangs
  • A Heavy Beast 1.png Beast, red-maned Lion head with sabertooth-like upper fangs.

Guild Requirements

Khimaira is the eighth Guild Boss accessible to a Guild. It requires a minimum Guild level of 60 and 1000 Guild Points to summon.

Combat

After approximately 70 rounds, the Khimaira cycles between its 3 forms, Goat → Serpent → Lion. Each head will show up a total of 4 times before the Khimaira is defeated.

  • The Goat form has middling Health, Armor, and Damage. Each of its attacks restores a small portion of its Armor. Its Power is Goat's Curse, which deals damage with a chance to cause Expose, and restores its own Health or Armor by the same amount.
  • The Serpent form has low Damage and Health but high Armor. Its power is Serpent's Bite, which deals damage directly to the Knight's health and is Strong vs Poison.
  • The Lion head has the same Health and Armor as the Goat head, with slightly less Damage. Its power is Lion's Pride, which deals high damage.

Rewards

Upon defeat, Khimaira gives 83 Guild XP and 90-150 Guild Accolades (on Normal) or 107 Guild XP and 115-250 Guild Accolades (on Expert) to each Knight who participated in the Guild Boss fight, depending on how long it took to defeat.

Trivia

  • In Greek mythology, the Khimaira or Chimera (ancient Greek Χίμαιρα) is a hybrid creature typically depicted with the heads of a goat and lion, and a tail ending in a serpent's head. It is said to be the offspring of the monsters Typhon and Echidna, and the sibling of creatures such as Cerberus and the Hydra.
