"The Atlantican Hydra has long been rumored to be the cause of many missing ships that attempted to cross the ocean. It is said to be very hard to kill."

Atlantican Hydra is one of the Guild Bosses in Knighthood. It is a Light Cult Hydra, resembling a green and yellow, three-headed serpent with red frills and large lower fangs.

Guild Requirements

Atlantican Hydra is the seventh Guild Boss accessible to a Guild. It requires a minimum Guild level of 50 and 900 Guild Points to summon.

Combat

Atlantican Hydra fights similarly to other Boss types. Its Power, Gordian Knot, restores a large amount of health and has a chance to give Protect and Regenerate.

At every 10% of its Life Force, the Atlantican Hydra alternates between its first and second forms. In its second form, its eyes turn red, a glowing aura surrounds its body, and its Power changes to Fang Flurry, which strikes multiple times with a chance to grant Focus and Fury to itself and cause Expose to the Knight.

Rewards

Upon defeat, Atlantican Hydra gives 62 XP and 70-110 Guild Accolades to each Knight who participated in the Guild Boss fight, depending on how long it took to defeat.

  • The term "Atlantican" refers to the Atlantica Ocean, which is on the western end of the World Map.
  • Atlantican Hydra's 1st form power, "Gordian Knot," refers to a legend of Alexander the Great where Alexander undoes an intricately tied series of knots by cutting it in half with his sword.
